The goal of the Company is to provide safe and effective therapeutic products for patients with certain disease states, who are under the ongoing care of a physician. The Company has spent many years developing novel Medical Food products that address the nutrient requirements of diseases such as fibromyalgia, pain syndromes, sleep disorders, metabolic syndromes, hypertension, and asthma.

The Company’s convenience packed Medical Food and generic drug products allow a pharmaceutical agent to be used at very low dose. The Company’s Medical Food products include Theramine, Sentra PM, GABAdone, Sentra AM, Hypertensa, AppTrim, Pulmona, Lister V and Trepadone. Theramine addresses acute and chronic pain. Sentra PM addresses sleep disorders associated with depression. GABAdone addresses sleep disorders associated with anxiety. Sentra AM addresses fatigue and cognitive function. Hypertensa addresses hypertension and metabolic syndrome. AppTrim addresses metabolic syndrome associated with obesity. Pulmona addresses pulmonary hypertension and asthma. Lister V addresses infection control. Trepadone addresses pain and inflammation of the joints. These disease states have distinct nutritional requirements as outlined in the product monographs.

Physician Therapeutics validates its products using the Evidence Based Medicine guidance recommended by the FDA. The FDA has developed criteria for evaluating the large body of information that is required to assess the value of therapeutic interventions. In the FDA guidance program, the type, quantity, and consistency of evidence is evaluated and graded.
